The Illinois Citizens for Better Education 'IC4BE' is an organization of parents and grandparents who are also taxpayers of the communities located throughout Central Illinois.
We believe that Common Core is not designed in the best interests of our children who are our future.
Through these concerns, we have assembled in order to bring attention to the deficiencies and unfunded costs of implementing Common Core to our fellow residents, state legislators and school boards.
It's imperative that we pause Common Core in order for a sensible dialog to take place on how the State Board of Education and the State of Illinois can pay for implementing and becoming compliant to State Adopted Standards, as well as, validating the effectiveness these standards are having toward making our children ready for the future.
